In Kharkiv region, a man, under the influence of alcohol, threw a grenade under his neighbor’s car, causing an explosion. According to the press service of the National Police, the incident occurred in the village of Mala Rogan near Kharkiv.
The incident details
The 25-year-old man took a hand grenade RGD-5, which he had found earlier this year, went out onto the balcony, approached the Kia Sorento car parked under the building, pulled the pin and threw the grenade under the car.
As a result of the explosion, the car of a 31-year-old neighbor was damaged. Fortunately, the woman was at home at the time of the incident and was not harmed. There were no injuries.
Legal action
Law enforcement agencies have detained the man and opened a criminal case for hooliganism. He faces imprisonment for a term of three to seven years for this crime.
