Oleh Kyper Denies Rumors of Becoming Prosecutor General
Oleh Kyper denies information about a possible appointment to the position of Prosecutor General of Ukraine, despite numerous rumors in the media.
In a comment to UNN, Oleh Kyper, who has been heading the Odessa Regional Military Administration since May 2023, emphasized that he has not received any official offers for the position of Prosecutor General from President Volodymyr Zelensky.
«All this news is just rumors and fakes from people who have nothing better to do. Every time I am «appointed» as Prosecutor General, there are a bunch of unnecessary rumors and assumptions,» Kyper said, adding that he continues to fulfill his duties as the head of the OVA.
He also compared his current work in the Odessa Regional Military Administration to his work in the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office. Kyper emphasized that leading the regional administration involves a much wider range of tasks than working in a law enforcement agency, which he jokingly referred to as punishment.
