Former «Ukrposhta» employee collaborated with «Ruspost» during the occupation
According to the representative of the Kharkiv SBU office, Vladyslav Abdula, a former employee of «Ukrposhta» in Izyum joined forces with the Russian occupiers during the occupation of the city.
The woman willingly offered her services to the Russians and was appointed to the occupation administration of the Russian Federation. She was then made the head of a local postal branch established by the occupiers. As part of her collaboration, she organized the distribution of Russian propaganda newspapers to the residents of Izyum.
In addition, the collaborator instructed her subordinates to distribute Russian publications inside the seized post office. She also attempted to introduce postage stamps and envelopes featuring Kremlin symbols into circulation.
Following the liberation of Izyum, the collaborator tried to evade punishment. However, SBU officers managed to apprehend her. She now faces up to 12 years in prison with property confiscation for her actions.
