Two exhibitions of embroidered shirts in Lviv
Two exhibitions of embroidered shirts took place in Lviv, in the Powder Tower, which became the central event of Embroidered Shirt Day celebrated on May 16th.
Embroidered Ukraine
One of the exhibitions, titled «Embroidered Ukraine,» presents regional variations of authentic embroidery, bringing together embroidered shirts from all corners of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Chest
The second exhibition, «Chest,» is a reinterpretation of personal heritage and traditional Ukrainian heritage through 12 ancient patterns of embroidered shirts adapted to modern trends and everyday wear.
The exhibitions will be open until May 26th. Admission is free.
