The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Introduces New Procedure for Issuing Military Registration Documents
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a new procedure for processing and issuing military registration documents for conscripts, military personnel, and reservists. The new procedure will be effective starting May 18, in conjunction with the law on strengthening mobilization. This decision was reported by UNN, citing a resolution of the Cabinet.
According to the resolution, military registration documents will be available in both paper and electronic form through the Diia portal. These documents will serve as confirmation of their owners’ duty to fulfill military obligations and will be issued to Ukrainian citizens who are conscripts, military personnel, or reservists, even if they have been removed from military registration.
Furthermore, documents will be issued to individuals who were previously deemed unfit for military service or have reached the maximum age limit for reserve duty. In such instances, the military registration document will be retained by the individual, with a specific notation regarding their exclusion from military registration.
