Legendary Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has officially joined the Turkish club Fenerbahce. The 61-year-old specialist signed a two-year contract and has already addressed the team’s supporters.

In a video message posted on Fenerbahce’s official pages, Mourinho greeted the fans of the Turkish club: «Hello, Fenerbahce fans! See you tomorrow at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium! Let’s start our journey together.»
New challenge for Mourinho
Mourinho’s last job was with Roma, which he left in January 2024. Now the coach is taking on a new challenge – to bring Fenerbahce back to the top of Turkish football.
Can Mourinho bring the championship title?
Last season, Fenerbahce finished in second place, just three points behind Galatasaray. Mourinho faces an ambitious task – to bring the championship title back to the «canary-blue» team.
Official presentation tomorrow
Mourinho’s official presentation will take place tomorrow, June 3, at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to personally see the new coach and feel his determination to return Fenerbahce to football’s Olympus.
