New Law on Strengthening Mobilization Process in Ukraine

In May, a new law on strengthening the mobilization process came into force in Ukraine. According to the changes, men aged 18 to 60 who are liable for military service must update their military data for the territorial defense forces and the National Guard. Those who fail to do so will be considered draft evaders and will be held accountable.

This law also applies to police officers and servicemen who have been dismissed or retired. They must undergo military registration with the territorial defense forces and the National Guard by July 16, 2024.

This requirement also extends to former employees of various institutions such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, National Police of Ukraine, and others as listed.
