The number of countries that confirmed their participation in the Peace Summit in Switzerland has decreased from 93 to 78, according to «Radio Liberty» citing anonymous sources among EU diplomats. Diplomats did not name specific countries that refused to participate, but noted that this number may increase. China also declined to participate, which was disappointing for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that China’s participation would have been a right step to ensure peace and demonstrate a balanced position.
