Police identify criminal group stealing fuel from trains
Authorities have identified members of a criminal group responsible for stealing fuel from trains in the Poltava region. The group, which included employees of a regional branch of «Ukrzaliznytsia,» developed a scheme to illegally appropriate diesel fuel from locomotives. Using radios and messengers to coordinate their actions, the group managed to steal up to one ton of fuel. Three individuals were apprehended during a fuel leak, and the investigation is currently being conducted by the Poltava regional prosecutor’s office.
