Tragedy strikes in Lviv on July 19
Popular MP, professor, and linguist Irina Farion has been tragically murdered. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, the investigation is exploring multiple theories surrounding the crime. The main focus is on her public and political activities, as well as personal animosity. Investigators are also considering the possibility of a contract killing.
Suspect near the crime scene
During a briefing, the minister revealed that there is evidence placing the suspect near Irina Farion’s home at the time of the murder. A cartridge case was discovered at the scene, and forensic examination is expected to provide further insight into the case.
