British tennis player Andy Murray has announced that he will end his professional career after the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Scot made the announcement on his social media, writing: «Arrived in Paris for my final tennis tournament. Representing Great Britain has been the highlight of my career, and I feel a great sense of pride to have the opportunity to do it one last time!»

Former world number one since 2005, Andy Murray has won 46 singles titles and 3 doubles titles. In his career, he has been the champion of three Grand Slam tournaments: the US Open 2012, Wimbledon 2013, and Wimbledon 2016.
