Young University of South Carolina defender Bronny James Announces Intent to Enter 2024 NBA Draft

University of South Carolina defender Bronny James has announced his intention to participate in the 2024 NBA draft. He also leaves open the possibility of continuing his education in college or transferring to another university.

«This past year has been full of challenges, but it has helped me grow as a person, student, and athlete. I have decided to enter the NBA draft while staying in college and preparing for a possible transfer to the NCAA,» shared James Jr. on his Instagram page.

In the current NCAA season, Bronny James has played 25 games for the Trojans, showcasing himself as a versatile player among students. His averages were 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. He made his NCAA debut in early December of last year.

Despite the prospect of being selected in the first round of the NBA draft, James Jr.’s career was marred by an incident during a workout in July when he experienced a sudden cardiac arrest.
