Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Focuses on Brigade Reshuffles
He noted that he observed some brigades, in particular, the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade, and thanked the soldiers of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, 47th Separate Motorized Brigade, and 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade.
The purpose of the reshuffles is to preserve the lives and health of the defenders. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in his Telegram channel.
According to him, he continues to work on the eastern front, and the situation on the front remains difficult but controlled.
«Over the course of three days, it became clear why some brigades manage to repel enemy attacks and hold positions with the same indicators of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, while others do not,» his message said.
Combat capabilities primarily depend on the brigade commander, the level of their training, experience, and ability to make adequate and substantial decisions. The level of training and planning of the brigade’s staff is also of great importance. In brigades where there are problems with the training of the staff, groups of specialists have been sent to share experience and provide assistance.
«In some cases, when the commander does not understand the situation, and their actions and commands directly endanger the lives and health of subordinates, I am forced to make personnel decisions,» Syrskyi explained.
The Commander-in-Chief also praised the soldiers of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade, who destroyed two enemy armored vehicle columns with accurate artillery fire combined with expert mine-laying, and thanked the soldiers of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, 47th Separate Motorized Brigade, and 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade.
As we reported earlier, Oleksandr Syrskyi, during his trip to the area of combat operations in the Donetsk region, announced that shortcomings in the assessment of the situation were being taken into account.
