Overturning the Decision

During the session of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, the decision of the border guards to ban Eduard Holub from crossing the border was overturned. Holub, who has had a second-degree disability since childhood, provided all the necessary documents for leaving the country. This was reported by ZAXID.net on Thursday, April 4.

Illegal Actions

The Lviv District Administrative Court ruled that the actions of the border service that led to the ban were illegal. According to court documents from March 2024, Holub tried to leave for Poland through the Ugrinov checkpoint at the end of 2023, providing all the required documents. However, the border guard demanded an additional certificate of unfitness for military service, denying the exit. Judge Maria Kedyk, after reviewing the materials, deemed the actions of the border guards illegal and annulled the ban.
