Employee of Housing and Utilities Management in Dnipro suspected of abuse of official position
From April to May 2023, an employee of the housing and utilities management in Dnipro, according to the investigation, committed abuse of his official position. He purchased furniture at an inflated price compared to the market value, causing damage to the state in excess of 500,000 hryvnias. The Prosecutor’s Office informed him of suspicion of misappropriation of property by abuse of official position on a large scale during a state of war (part 4 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The suspect faces imprisonment for a term of five to eight years and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
