New Scientific Research Shows Earth Setting Temperature Records
Recent scientific research has revealed that the Earth has been breaking temperature records consistently over the past 13 months. Each month, the temperature has been rising by 1.5 degrees Celsius compared to the average temperature before the industrial period.
Scientists are warning that this temperature increase could result in devastating consequences such as floods, droughts, wildfires, food shortages, and widespread impacts on ecosystems. Research has indicated a concerning trend of climate deterioration, with the European Copernicus Climate Change Service reporting that June 2024 was the thirteenth hottest month on record. The average air temperature for June was recorded at 16.66°C, which is 0.14°C higher than the previous record set in June of the previous year.
