The Orlivka ferry complex to complete construction of new dock by 2024

The Orlivka ferry complex in the Odessa region plans to finish the construction of a new dock by the end of 2024. The founder of the complex, Yuri Dimchoglo, stated in an interview with USM that the new dock will be used for handling various types of cargo, including oil crops.

Dimchoglo explained that the new sea dock will be universal and capable of handling a variety of cargoes, including oil crops. He mentioned that they have already started the construction of the dock and acquired a tanker with a capacity to store up to 1,500 tons of oil cargo.

Before the opening of the ports in Great Odessa in October 2023, the complex was handling between 100,000 and 120,000 tons of cargo monthly. However, the volumes have significantly decreased since then and currently stand at around 50,000 tons per month.
