The «Kazka» kindergarten reopens after missile strike

The «Kazka» kindergarten in Lviv, which was affected by a missile strike, has reopened its doors for little students starting from April. This was announced by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.

The restoration and repair of the building cost the city budget over 12 million hryvnias. Additionally, the charitable organization Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine replaced 57 windows and more than 20 doors in the kindergarten’s premises.

The kindergarten will continue to operate with 6 groups for preschoolers, catering to 140 children, as before.

It is worth mentioning that the kindergarten fell victim to a missile strike on the night of August 15, 2023, when Russian forces conducted massive shelling of Lviv. One of the rockets hit the territory of the kindergarten, causing an explosion and creating a crater with a diameter of 20 meters and a depth of 9 meters.
