Conflict Resolution at Police Department
At the Oleksandrivskyi district police department, a report was received about a conflict between a 50-year-old local resident and his wife, during which the man threatened to use an explosive device he was holding in his hand.
A special police unit, including specialists in criminal investigation and explosives, quickly arrived at the scene of the incident.
After taking necessary measures, law enforcement officers detained the man, preventing any negative consequences. Preliminary information indicates that the object the man was threatening with could be a hand grenade F-1 with a fuse. The seized material has been sent for examination.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated for this incident under the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: threat of murder and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives. The man faces imprisonment for up to 7 years.
