A man sentenced to restricted freedom for domestic violence against mother
A man in the Carpathian region was found guilty of systematically committing domestic violence against his mother, and was sentenced to one year and six months of restricted freedom.
The information was reported by «Halka» with reference to the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the court, the man psychologically abused his mother for a long time, using foul language and humiliation.
This is not an isolated case: the man had been previously held administratively responsible for similar actions several times. Most recently, he also violated the conditions of administrative supervision by continuing to abuse his mother and threatening her with physical violence.
The court decided to impose a punishment of one and a half years of restricted freedom on the man.
The court’s decision can be appealed in the appellate procedure.
