Reduction of Trolleybuses in Kherson due to Energy Issues

The City Council of Kherson announces reduction in trolleybus service

Due to energy challenges caused by constant attacks, the City Council of Kherson has announced a reduction in the number of trolleybuses on four routes. Starting July 1, the following routes will be affected:

Route Changes:

Route 8 and 12 will operate with 18 units on weekdays and 14 on weekends. Route 9 will have 17 units on weekdays and 14 on weekends. Route 11 will run with 2 units on weekdays and 1 unit on weekends. The working hours will remain unchanged.

The city’s leadership views these measures as necessary to reduce electricity consumption and address energy challenges, ensuring the stability of the local energy resource.
