Clay Season Progress

Currently, I am having the best season on clay in my entire career, so I can’t complain, even though I quickly exited in Madrid and Rome, where I didn’t perform very well before. Am I ready for Roland Garros? Honestly, I don’t know. Let’s see tomorrow how prepared I will be, because any assessment will not be objective. I haven’t had much match practice for a long time, and a match is always a test.

First Opponent: Laura Pigossi

As for my first opponent Laura Pigossi, who made it to the main draw by winning three matches in the qualifying rounds, I can’t say anything yet, as I will be preparing for the match with her together with my team.

Roland Garros Expectations

Regarding Roland Garros, it’s a tournament where I haven’t performed well yet. I can’t say why. Let’s see how it goes this year.

Dealing with Pressure

The status of being a top-20 tennis player puts some pressure, but it’s part of the process. The higher the ranking, the higher the expectations, from myself and others. It’s normal. It’s a new challenge, but I am happy about it, as it means I have reached the level I dreamed of.
