Emergency Assistance from Ukraine to Polish Energy System
Ukraine has provided emergency assistance to the Polish energy system by supplying electricity during a critical situation. On March 1, from 10:00 to 12:00, at the request of PSE, emergency electricity totaling 400 MW-hour was delivered. This swift response demonstrates the cooperation and support between Ukraine and Poland in times of need.
Reciprocal Support Between Ukraine and Poland
In a show of solidarity, on February 29, Poland also provided emergency assistance to the Ukrainian energy system for the third consecutive day. The assistance included taking excess electricity totaling 1343 MW-hour, further strengthening the bond between the two countries during challenging times.
Continued Electric Exchange Between Ukraine and Neighboring Countries
As of March 1, Ukraine continues to export electricity throughout the day to neighboring countries such as Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Moldova, totaling 9389 MW-hour. Import of electricity is planned mainly in the evening hours from Slovakia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, totaling 465 MW-hour. These cross-border exchanges play a vital role in ensuring stable electricity supply across the region.
