Starting from May 21, the police in Zaporizhia will begin checking public transport at the final stops. This was reported by the press service of the Zaporizhia City Council, according to RBC-Ukraine.

According to representatives of the city council, this decision was made to ensure proper control over the organization of passenger transportation, prevent accidents on bus routes, and improve the quality of passenger transport services.

«Starting from May 21, the Department of Transport and Communications of the Zaporizhia City Council, together with the patrol police, plans to conduct inspections of vehicles serving urban bus routes at the final stops of public transport,» the city council said.
